More than design. It’s personal.

This isn’t just what I do. It’s who I am.
Here’s the story behind the pixels — and what drives me to keep building.

The story behind the screen

Hi, I’m Fernando. I’ve been in the design and web game for over two decades. My journey started long before WordPress, back when websites felt more like magic than marketing. Over the years, I’ve built a career around making digital feel human.

I studied design and communication, but most of what I know today comes from real-world work: client challenges, failed experiments, late-night breakthroughs, and figuring things out when there was no playbook.

Minimalism became my method not just for design, but for life — clear layouts, meaningful visuals, no clutter, no fluff. That simplicity now guides how I build websites, handle SEO, and run my business.

I’m also deeply eco-conscious — not as a trend, but as a principle. Every site I design is built with performance, efficiency and sustainability in mind. From lean code to carbon-neutral hosting, small details matter.

Although I live in Mauritius, I travel frequently to The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK. I’ve worked with clients across borders and time zones, but the process is always the same: clarity, care, and clean work that delivers.

Kind words from past projects

I don’t chase testimonials — I earn them. Here’s what people have shared after working together.

Curious what this looks like in practice?

Here are a few real projects — designed, built, optimised, and launched with care.

My everyday essentials

From planning to publishing, these are the tools I use to keep things fast, focused and efficient — for me and for you.

Clean UI design and wireframing with live teams.

Interactive prototypes with smart animations.

Flexible CMS built for growth and performance.

Fast visual editing for WordPress websites.

Organised project docs, notes and roadmaps.

Lightweight vector and image editing tools.

Task planning, tracking and progress in one hub.

Powerful SEO audits and competitor research.

Lightweight JavaScript test framework toolkit.

Trusted creatives I work with

Behind every great project is a tight crew. Here are a few of the people I collaborate with when the work calls for it.

Why I do what I do

A small difference, on purpose

I don’t just build for clicks. I build for people — and for something a little bigger than the web itself.

Every project I take on helps fund the tools, time, and ideas I contribute back to the creative communities and specific NGOs. I support local collaborators, help nonprofits stay visible online, and quietly make choices that reduce digital waste — from the code I write to the services I use.

Whether it’s switching email platforms to one that offsets carbon, or choosing green hosting over cheaper shortcuts, I believe small changes can stack up. It’s not about making noise. It’s about showing up, doing the work, and leaving things better than I found them.

If this feels like the kind of design partner you’d want in your corner, let’s talk.
